While I didn’t realize it at the time, we didn’t leave public school on a whim. It was years worth of misgivings that lead us here. 
 After we left it was hard, but, there were some pretty special moments that kept us going. More connection.
More freedom.

✨ A few safer swaps in our pantry + bathroom It’s not fancy, but it’s what feels good. Stepping away from the rate race allowed us to slow down, reevaluate and realign- leading to many healthier habits it’s.

As an unschooling family, “what does your schedule look like?” is the number one question I get asked. 📆 Here’s what our schedule looks like: We school at home once or twice a week. We have nature school as a family one day a week and co-op twice a week. In between chores, sports, appointments, family meals and life- we trickle in learning experiences. I can honestly say our day includes all the following on most days though. 
Wake up.
Snuggle.
Wander.
Wonder.
Create.
Connect. That’s it. Those are our priorities. We don’t need a packed planner—we need room to breathe. The more I trust my kids, the more I’m amazed by how much they’re learning, all on their own. And it fits in with our family rhythm perfectly.

We’re downsizing our home, and guess what’s also getting smaller?
The overwhelm.

The to-do list. We’re not just purging stuff—we’re making space for memories. 
This move isn’t just about a house; it’s about rewriting the rhythm of our days. ✨Less to clean = more time to connect.
✨Fewer toys = more imagination.
✨Fewer distractions = more peace. And it is crazy to think our homeschooling start actually was the beginning of a ripple effect that led us to this place. Homeschooling has a way of helping you align with your values and purpose. Discovering I want more time with my family with less distractions was a catalyst for making it happen.
